I made these in 2004. I had a stack of vintage school paper in the studio. As well as stacks and stacks of colorful contact paper. The idea of patterned, pretty tanks really appealed to me - so I cut them out of the contact paper. These pieces are narrative in nature [stemming from the paper's original intended use]- the tanks, though, are "fighting" cute or natural things.
